BARRON, Wis. (WJMC) — Most of Barron County’s snowmobile trails remain closed.
While last week’s new snow has brought the potential for more winter activities, like skiing, snowshoeing and perhaps an occasional snowball fight, other conditions remain poor for the county’s snowmobile trails. The Barron County Sheriff’s Department said high winds kept the snow off of farm fields, causing risk to rider safety and property damage to the fields.
All trails remain closed with the exception of Wild Rivers, Cattail and Tuscobia multiuse trails.
