ATLANTA (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo had 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his seventh triple-double of the season, and the surging Milwaukee Bucks beat the Atlanta Hawks 127-121. Damian Lillard scored 23 points for the Bucks, who have won three straight and seven of eight. Milwaukee remained in fourth place in the Eastern Conference at 35-25. Trae Young led Atlanta with 28 points and 13 assists. Caris LeVert scored 21 points. Neither team led by more than eight. The game was tied at 121-all when Brook Lopez dunked to give Milwaukee the lead, and the Bucks scored the final six points.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 18 points, Naz Reid added 23 and the Minnesota Timberwolves pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers 126-112 Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 20 points off the bench. The Timberwolves used a 25-9 run at the start of the fourth to take control. Quentin Grimes led the 76ers with 30 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 24 for Philadelphia, which has lost 13 of 15 and was playing the second game of a back-to-back after losing 119-102 at home to Portland a night earlier.

SEATTLE (AP) — Mats Zuccarello’s goal 8:22 into the second period proved to be the difference in the Minnesota Wild’s 4-3 win over the Seattle Kraken. Zuccarello, Frederick Gaudreau and Jared Spurgeon all had a goal and an assist for the Wild, and Filip Gustavsson made 33 saves. Vinnie Hinostroza scored Minnesota’s first goal of the game. Zuccarello scored on a snap shot, putting the Wild up 4-1. Brandon Montour and Shane Wright scored late in the second period to pull the Kraken within 4-3. Adam Larsson also scored for Seattle and Joey Daccord had 16 saves.
LAVAL, Quebec (AP) — Marie-Philip Poulin scored the only goal of the shootout as the Montreal Victoire extended their lead atop the PWHL with a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Frost on Tuesday night. With the win, Montreal’s lead in first place is now nine points over the second-place Toronto Sceptres with 10 games remaining. Ann-Renée Desbiens made a season-high 40 saves for the Victoire, including four in overtime. Laura Stacey opened the scoring for Montreal with her eighth goal of the season 17 seconds into the second period. Taylor Heise tied the game with 3:42 left in the second period on the power play.
A person familiar with the situation says kicker Brandon McManus is staying with the Green Bay Packers after agreeing to a three-year, $15.3 million contract with a $5 million signing bonus. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal hasn’t been announced. ESPN first reported the agreement. The 33-year-old McManus could have become an unrestricted free agent next week if he hadn’t agreed to terms. McManus stabilized the Packers’ kicking situation when he signed in October. He went 20 of 21 on field goals and made all 30 of his extra-point attempts in 11 games.
A person familiar with the negotiations says veteran left-handed pitcher Jose Quintana is joining the Milwaukee Brewers on a one-year, $4.25 million deal with $1 million in potential bonuses. FanSided first reported that Quintana was signing with the Brewers. The 36-year-old Quintana is coming off a 2024 season in which he went 10-10 with a 3.75 ERA in 31 starts for the New York Mets. He struck out 135 and walked 63 in 170 1/3 innings. He started the deciding game of the Mets’ NL Wild Card Series victory over the Brewers.
